PARMESAN BRUSSELS SPROUTS
You are NOT allowed to say you “don’t like brussels sprouts” until you have tried this dish and if you still don’t like it…just add bacon (pasture-raised nitrate-free)!
INGREDIENTS:
1 Tbsp grass-fed butter
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1# brussels sprouts
1 Tbsp butter, divided
2 Tbsp shredded Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp sea salt
t tsp fresh ground pepper
Juice of 1 lemon
DIRECTIONS:
Heat a large frying pan (preferably cast iron) over medium heat until hot. Melt 1 Tbsp butter, once melted add in garlic, stirring frequently to avoid burning. After about 1 minute, add brussels sprouts and 1/2 Tbsp butter.Stir to coat and let sit in pan to brown about 3-4 minutes at medium heat. Flip once, until browned on both sides. Add remaining butter and sprinkle with Parmesan, sea salt, and pepper. Splash with fresh lemon juice and serve warm!
