Carrots: Two Ways
CARROTS: TWO WAYS
Our whole team is crazy for carrots! Whether they’re raw, steamed or mashed, they’re a delicious and healthy treat. We previously wrote a blog on the health benefits of this root vegetable. Today, we’re featuring carrots two ways.
Maple-Glazed Carrots
Ingredients:
1 bunch of carrots
2 tablespoons of pure maple syrup
2 teaspoons of olive oil
2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar
3 tablespoons of chopped fresh basil
Directions:
Toss the maple syrup, olive oil, balsamic vinegar and chopped basil on the blanched carrots.
Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
Carrot Fries
Ingredients:
1 bunch of carrots
2 teaspoons of olive oil
1 teaspoon of sea salt
Directions:
Thinly slice the carrots length-wise. Coat them in olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
