Use Grass-Fed Butter in place of vegetable oil!Grass fed butter has CLAs which are anti-tumurgenic and anti-inflammatory! It also contains Vitamin K2 which helps to decalcify arteries, decreased CVD risk, and osteoporosis!
Use almond flour in place of white flour!White flour leaches nutrients and is a dead food! Almond flour is high in monounsaturated fats, lower risk of heart disease, is hight in vitamin E which is anti-inflammatory, and is hight in magnesium and potassium.
Ingredients:
5 cups blanched almond flour
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon ginger powder
¼ teaspoon cloves, ground
½ teaspoon celtic sea salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ cup grassfed butter
½ cup grade b maple syrup
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup black strap molasses
2 eggs
Directions:
In a large bowl, combine almond flour, cinnamon, ginger powder, cloves, salt and baking soda In a smaller bowl, mix together melted butter, maple syrup, vanilla, molasses, and eggs. Stir wet ingredients into dry. Chill dough in freezer for 1-2 hours. Roll out dough between two pieces of parchment paper to ½ inch thick. To make dough even easier to handle sprinkle with almond flour. Remove top sheet of parchment paper, cut out cookies using a medium gingerbread man cookie cutter. Optional: Decorate with nuts and dried fruit. Transfer with a spatula to a parchment lined baking sheet. Cook at 350° for 12-15 minutes. Cool and serve.
