KETO PUMPKIN SPICE LATTE

Following a ketogenic diet does not necessarily mean you have to miss out on fall flavors like pumpkin spice! In fact, a small amount of pumpkin puree can absolutely work into your daily macros while adding a rich source of Vitamin A and zinc as well as fiber. While the Starbucks counterpart can be keto-fied and we have seen lots of posts on how to do it, we still do NOT recommend this as it will contain artificial flavors, non-caloric sweeteners, stabilizers and preservatives! This real food version supports a healthy gut lining with the addition of gelatin and includes creamy full fat coconut milk to provide satiety as well as antimicrobial properties and boost metabolism!
INGREDIENTS
8 oz hot brewed coffee
2 Tbsp pumpkin puree
2 oz full fat coconut milk
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground ginger
1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
1/8 tsp ground cloves
1 scoop gelatin
DIRECTIONS
Add all ingredients to a blender and mix on high for 30-45 seconds until fully incorporated and a creamy head forms. Pour into a mug and sprinkle with additional cinnamon.
