Maca Cacao Chia Pudding
MACA CACAO CHIA PUDDING
FOOD AS MEDICINE
Maca is a Peruvian root consumed in a ground form that can be added to smoothies, shakes, desserts and more. It works to stimulate the pituitary gland which in turn stimulates human growth hormone, oxytocin, and progesterone production as well as thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH). Maca is known as an adaptogen, meaning that it can help our body to cope with stress and aid in resilience while balancing hormones. Maca is also a libido booster for both women and men and can help to enhance fertility.

Sounds awesome. Will definitely try. I have heard from another Keto expert that Chia seeds interfere with hormones and should be avoided. What do you think about this?
Like everything else, moderation is key. Chia can actually help in balancing excessive estrogen and it is honestly going to be very hard if not impossible to consume an amount that would interfere with hormones!
Can you take maca root while on an anti depressant?
Yes you can!
