Pumpkin Steel Cut Oats Recipe
PUMPKIN STEEL CUT OATS RECIPE

Makes 4 servings
INGREDIENTS:
1 tablespoon butter
1 cup steel cut oats
2 ½ cups boiling water
½ cup almond milk
2 scoops of Naturally Nourished Grassfed Whey Protein
1 tablespoon maple syrup
¼ teaspoon cinnamon
½ cup pumpkin puree
2 tablespoons almond butter
DIRECTIONS:
In a large sauce pot, melt the butter and add the oats. Stir for 2 minutes to toast. Add the boiling water and reduce heat to a simmer. Keep at a low simmer for 25 minutes, without stirring.
Combine the milk with the oatmeal. Stir gently to combine and cook for an additional 10 minutes. Add grassfed whey, stir. Once incorporated, mix in maple syrup, cinnamon and pumpkin puree and then top each serving with 2 tsp almond butter.
