Watermelon, Cucumber and Feta Salad Recipe
WATERMELON, CUCUMBER, AND FETA SALAD RECIPE
FOOD AS MEDICINE:
Stay hydrated this summer by choosing fresh fruits and veggies, which help to volumize our intake and create a feeling of fullness. Watermelon and cucumber both boast particularly high water content, which help to increase hydration while holding over our appetite and also providing a nice delivery of antioxidants. Watermelon is high in the antioxidant lycopene, which helps to prevent against certain types of cancer and is heart protective.
